Leeds and District Amalgamated Society of Anglers have given the go-ahead for a turbine to in a Topcliffe Mill river Swale N Yorks. It will power about forty homes.
It is still in the planning stage, any objections should be made to Harrogate Borough Council.

Nope nothing happened yet council have there heads stuck in the sand because there is to many people against it

Good news on this scheme it has been dropped by the hydro company,many happy fishing faces down topcliffe to come I think.
